I am now a spender!! I can't help but buy things. Although thankfully I have actually learnt a great deal through the Flipping Thrift challenge.

Lady-man!!

I have been wearing husband’s Bonds underpants. I fold the waistband down under my belly and I have myself the comfiest undies out. I'm telling you these trunks were invented by a pregnant woman. I look all lady and fem on the outside but underneath my friends I'm a lady-man!!! :)

Insert picture here...NOT!!

I can’t possibly bring myself to show the blog-a-sphere a picture of me in my undies so I am afraid there will be no visual to accompany this anecdote.

However whilst I am on the funny side of things I will reveal another shocker of an outfit. This one my friends did not make it anywhere. Last month I was trying to pack for our babymoon to warmer Italy and obviously had trouble with some of the outfits.

These are husband’s shorts and belt. I totally look like a grandpa. The photo was nearly deleted as soon as it was taken though how can I not share these funnies with you on my adventure?

Nao turns grandpa for all of five minutes...

Luckily I was handed down a pregnancy friendly dress from my sister which made it to Italy instead of the disaster outfit above.  Much better :)

I nearly left the house like this!

This morning I nearly left the house a little too comfortable. Comfort is key at week 32 of pregnancy, though when I looked in the mirror I didn’t recognise the clumsy, mumsy reflection. I borrowed an extra seven minutes to turn my rather dowdy, comfy attire into a more presentable ME!

The harem style trousers were in my ‘TOO-SMALL’ pile of clothing.  With a little thriftiness I cut the elastic out of the waistband and pulled them comfortably over my bump. From clumsy mumsy into a fresher, brighter me. Phew, much better.

I am a terrible blogger

I confess, I am a terrible blogger!! However, even though I am not be scribing my project, I am still in the game. Yes, Yes, Yes, I am still on this no-buying promise and with a protruding belly getting insanely bigger by the second it has been a little bit more of a challenge.

I have not spent a cent on any clothing or accessory additions, not even to cover the big bump expanding rapidly out of my clothes. So without further adieu, check me out in my old pink and purple Warehouse favourite – still going strong AND STRRRREEETCHING

I promise to keep up to date delivering this adventure to you, especially being so close to the finish line. Only one month to go, (oh and for actual baby – it is two).

Remember this? This was me in 2006 on the right and then again in the same outfit late last year.
